Basic features - Good for Travelodge type of hotel. Clean rooms, comfy bed, close car park, decent breakfast.

Usual travelodge. Service was friendly and fast. Everything seemed clean enough. Room was a decent size. Shower curtain was nt any good at keeping water in the shower though. Watch for that. But would recommend.

Nice modern hotel, 5-10min walk up from train station, room nicely presented,but no hairdryer in room,but apparently you have to ask for one 🤔, Only negative the bathroom was a bit tight for space and the stupid shower curtain letting water onto the floor, First time staying in Travelodge,didn't use any other facilities there but overall quite good, but my experiences with Premier Inn is slightly better, but no grudges against this Travelodge. Oh and nearly forgot to say there's a Whetherspoons dead opposite.

Stopped there for a short holiday. Close to weatherspoons and a few takeaway restaurants. The town is nice and close to mersea. Nice place to stay, close to a few parks near by too. Staff are friendly. The hotel offers a restaurant and bar. Priced very well too. I'd recommend.

A typical Travelodge, you know what your getting, there's no surprises, good location, staff friendly, rooms a fair size .

Simple, fresh & comfortable. It's not overly priced, but the costs do fluctuate a lot. Breakfast is all you can eat and is a must. Fresh, plentiful, and lovely

Very clean modern rooms, great facilities. So good to have the café on site, and right in the centre of town. Very useful to have the car park adjacent to the hotel. Helpful and friendly staff.

The two young girls that work there are really nice and always smile when guests walk in however the rooms are out dated the tvs are really old and doesn't connect or cast to my laptop.

Had to cancel our booking, totally understood we'd lose the room booking fee but expected to be refunded on the breakfast that I could have paid for on the day. Refund of breakfast was refused. Who kept the breakfast monies? Travodge or where we were going to have breakfast? Absolutely gutted.

I paid £50 1st night ,after it didn't stop going up ,its a total rip off they actually ask me for £130 to stay in margate, so i booked it on my mates phone and it went down to £40 ,will ndver stay in travelodge ever again

Hotel is in a great location but other than that I wouldn't stay again. - BE AWARE you have to pay for parking! There is no free parking and unless you turn up at 7pm and leave at 7am then you'll be paying alot. - Room was unclean. Bathroom was half done. Taps all dirty. Duvet cover had no closure at the end and you could see the duvet which was all stained. Sheet at the bottom had a red stain. Toilet wouldn't flush properly and took around half an hour to stop the noise. Plus point is the new heating system. The problem is the rooms are not cheap anymore and I'm tired of the " well it is a travelodge ". No the rooms should be to good standard to the price paid. I think their are better hotels in the area for the price with free parking.

Everything was very good but we were disappointed with the size of the beds 2ft 6" beds for disabled persons were inadequate.
